Enchanted Summer Garden Artwork Challenge

Hi there, artists! Ready to create something special? This summer, we’re inviting you to enter the Enchanted Summer Garden - a magical art challenge where you will get a chance to breathe life in your story!
Whether it’s a moonlit moor, a secret tea party under rose-covered arches, or a mysterious forest - all you need is to let your imagination guide you and start drawing.

Before you dive into creating, here’s everything you need to know.

Theme:

Bring an Enchanted Summer Garden to life - think fairy hideaways, mystical creatures, or something truly unimaginable. Surprise us!

Mediums Allowed:

Traditional only: watercolors, pencils, inks, markers, or pastels.

No digital art. Mixed media is welcome!

Size Limit:

Max A3 format (297 × 420 mm).

How to Submit

1. Local artists

Drop off your work at Aleksandra Čaka iela 58, Latgales priekšpilsēta, Rīga, LV-1011 by August 13, 2025

2. International artists

Submit at the convention on August 15, 2025

Judging & awards

Judging Criteria

Your artwork will be scored on 5 key elements:

Creativity - How unique is your enchanted garden?

Theme Fit - Does it feel like summer fantasy?

Visual Impact - Do your colors, composition and technique stand out?

Storytelling - Does it spark wonder or tell a tale?

Overall Impression - Is your garden one we’ll never forget?
