HEARTHSTONE TOURNAMENT

Critical rules:

  • LAN event

  • Region: Europe

  • Maximum amount of players – 16

  • BYOD (Bring Your Own Device)

  • No rank limit

  • Double Elimination bracket

  • Format: 4 picks, 1 ban, Conquest (BO5), until all 3 decks won.

  • Match format: Conquest

  • Prize pool – 100€ 

  • Participation fee: each team member should have a valid WinterCon V

Semi-Critical rules:

  • By registering and participating in WinterCon V Hearthstone tournament you agree that you've read and accepted the rules

  • We reserve the right to change, modify, or adapt all rules as deemed appropriate by UniCon eSports and WinterCon administration. 

  • All disputing moments and other incidents that are not mentioned in rules are resolved by UniCon eSports and WinterCon administration. Resolution is final and cannot be escalated.

  • Players with offensive nicknames or avatars are not allowed to participate in Hearthstone  at WinterCon V.

Registration:

  • Registration is arranged at PC Gaming zone of WinterCon V (27 on the plan) on Saturday 12.01.2019 from 12:00 till 13:00 (or til full)

  • Hearthstone tournament starts 13:00 (or than the bracket is full)

  • Time can be set earlier by administration announcement. 

Preparation:

  • Depending on time, it might be decided to play BO3 with 2 bans 2 picks for Loosers brackets and even first round of Winners bracket​​.

  • All games must be played simultaneously.

  • You must have 4 heroes/decks ready to play without duplicate hero available in your deck list. 

  • Before the match starts you must ask admins for classes that your opponent play, you can ask to do it silently without opponent knowing what you will ban, Admin will notify you both afterwards.

  • If opponent didn't show up in next 10 minutes after the match was announced if not stated otherwise by Admin, opponent is disqualified.

  • When match is announced, you must sit beside your opponent and display your deck list, after that you can sit wherever you want and challenge each other through local feature or by adding each other on Battle.Net friend list and start the match.

  • All matches must be played without leaving the match lobby.

  • If game crashed and you're not allowed to get back to the game in time, please show your game screen to your opponent and call for Admin immediately to record that. After that try to continue the match where you left it. Opponent is allowed to make his move, but without taking advantage of timeout, he must wait for a "rope" to appear.

Scoring:

  • Player must win one game with each of his three decks to win the match if not stated otherwise by Admin.

  • When a player wins a game, the deck used by the winning player cannot be used afterwards till the end of BO5 match.

  • The losing player can keep the same deck used or switch to a different one of their choice (the one that didn't won before).

Results:

  • Results must be told to Admins immediately after the matches are over.

  • We do advise you to take screenshots of Win Screen of the game, in case of dispute moments. Please find out before the Event how to make screenshot on your device or device that will be provided to you.

Game settings:

  • Game Mode: Standard

  • After entering lobby it is not allowed to leave without penalty

Prize pool:

  • Prize distribution goes as following:

  • III place – 20€

  • II place – 30€

  • I place – 50€

  • Prize money will be transferred within one month after the LAN Final.
